AIMA Winter Concerts continues with Duo Fidelis

Duo Fidelis (meaning; faithful duo), started playing music together in 1996. In fact, Orçun was accompanying her with improvisations while Zeynep was playing her first notes on flute. For 20 years, the love of music  and their respect for one another became a force to share, develop, create and they decided to continue the future projects under this name.

She started her flute studies with professor Halit Turgay in 1996. Graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory in 2007. During her education she attended several master classes of famous flutists such as; William Bennett, Emmanuel Pahud, Davide Formisano, Andrea Oliva, Robert Winn, Jean Ferrandis, Nicola Mazzanti, Siobhan Grealy. After playing in Akbank Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonia Istanbul and Şişli Symphonic Orchestra for several years, she has been a member of Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra as solo piccolist since 2008, also solo flutist of Orkestra’Sion since 2011. Zeynep Keleşoğlu has been an active solo and chamber-music player, participating in many concerts and festivals around Turkey. She is a member of Marsyas Flute Quartet, Trio Pax and Orient Ensemble.


He was born in Istanbul and started his first piano lessons at the age of 4 at Istanbul University State Conservatory. In 1994, he continued his music studies at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory and graduated  Zeynep Yamantürk’s piano class in 2004. He studied with composer Ali Darmar, and pianist Prof. Ayşegül Sarıca and attended masterclasses of Stephen Kovacevich. He won the scholarship of ALV and he worked with Karl-Heinz Kammerling at Salzburg Summer Academy in 2007. He started conducting lessons in 2006 with prof. Gürer Aykal and he conducted DESO, CRR Symphony Orchestra, Antalya and Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Mersin Academic Chamber Orchestra and Budapest Radio Symphony Orchestra.  He is the founder, principal conductor and art director of “Orchestra’Sion” since 2008 in Istanbul. Orchestra’Sion and Orçunsel, shared the same stage with world fomous soloists Paul Badura-Skoda, Andrei Gavrilov, Dimitri Ashkenazy, Aleksander Rudin, Ayşegül Sarıca, Cihat Aşkın, Toros Can, Borusan Quartet, Bülent Evcil and Özcan Ulucan.
